Spiros food truck has been threatened with closure by an obscure bylaw.
There is a petition that some supporters are signing.

There are two separate parking lots now with food trucks. The "original" lot with Caplanskys at Queen and Dalhousie (east of Church, west of Jarvis), and the old tire shop lot at Queen and Jarvis. The Toronto Life post/tweet was about the trucks in the "new" lot at Queen and Jarvis.

I was there about a month ago and Caplanski's had a truck and so did Spiros of Chicago Pizza Kitchen fame. He's got a trailer actually and calls it Food Cabbie. I get daily menu updates on FB and saw they had imported some MSM from Quebec so I had to give it a go. It was awesome but needed deli mustard. The dijon was fine but a Keens or something like that would've put it over the moon.

re: Davwud
yeah I remember walking by and seeing those two trucks. looks like caplanskys is going carnie style with the kool aid donut. I also noticed food cabbie offers a California style Burger. anyone try that? down the street there's a tireshop at the corner of Jarvis and queen. heard they are using that parking lot for a fleet of food trucks.
