Is Eli Kaimeh leaving Per Se?

According to this article, the talented chef de cuisine might be moving to Le Bec Fin in Philadelphia.

False alarm. Walter Abrams and Jennifer Smith, both French Laundry alums, will be the new chef and pastry chef at Le Bec Fin. Kaimeh and Breeden will remain at Per Se.

Or it might be the executive sous chef, David Breeden.

I met Breeden briefly during my last meal there. He conceptualized and then created the best soft-shell crab dish that I have ever had (part of an extended tasting), then (in the most friendly and justifiable way possible) made clear that I knew he was from TN (I am from baltimore). If he makes food like that at Le Bec Fin, I will go out of my way to check it out.

He always smiles, and yes, he creates some awsome dishes for extended menu indeed!
If the rumour is true, I will certainly miss him!

Nice pics! I'm a bit jealous since I didn't get to meet Kaimeh or Breeden during my kitchen tour,

              Thanks.
Try to stay a bit longer in the kitchen. You will eventually run into them! LOL
