Pagliuca's on Parmenter street is by far my all time North End go to, great food, great service.

I also like Pagliucas but Mother Anna's is one of my favorite "red sauce" type places.

Lo Conte's on Salem street. Call for reservations or drop in. The north end in general will not be too busy tonight.

I'm not so sure about that. It seems very busy in town this weekend. I picked visitors up at the Back Bay train station and they reported a SRO local Amtrak from CT. Lunch an Picco was packed. This is vacation week and lots people are probably coming to Boston since the skiing is not good.

Artu fits the bill. The North End was a zoo last night. It will be busy again tonight due to the warm weather and the holiday.

A perfect formula to avoid the north end, good weather, a holiday week-end and parking nightmares. I'd opt for Eastie, Rino's, Javelli's or Winthrop, De Parma or Roselli's instead.

Forgot tomorrow is a holiday. Ok, then for sure make reservations. But if you don't, Salem street is usually less busy and lo Conte's fits the traditional request and you should get seated without a reservation
