It's my birthday...

Sunday Feb 19th is my 40th birthday and of course I waited until the very last minute to make a dinner reservation.

Looking for suggestions in the West end around Little Italy/Little Portugul/Roncesvales/Parkdale. We've got 5 people. My initial choices of Enoteca Sociale (full) and Black Skirt (not open sunday) are already out.

Any ideas of where to look next???

Campagnolo would be a fine substitute for Enoteca.

Has anyone eaten at Ursa yet? I've only had drinks.

          Yes,
Still going through some 'nursery' troubles.
Front of house needs more training.
Food is 'promising' - I'll give them a couple of weeks to get organized then return. Not fair to give an opinion until they've settled in - although if they are charging full prices (around $175 for two with a normal menu and bottle of wine) they should really expect a 'real' review, but I'll cut them some slack.

              It's a small menu. I recall a root vegetable appetizer/salad, and a house-made kefir - so some certainly available.
But I haven't yet had the opportunity to return, so not sure if they're stil available.

Thank you for the suggestions! We went to La Palette and had a great time.
