Chowhound Worthy Finger Food Catering/Take Out For Oscar Party

echoparkdirt Feb 17, 2012 11:56 PM

Very small party of about 15 in Venice. Thinking about a step up from the usual Trader Joe's Spannokopitas

Any thoughts? i would love to do something pastry and meat that is elegant, chowhound worthy and fingery...anything really!

I have seen some nice trays from Huckleberry. Their catering menu is listed on their website.

Wow this looks great. Their sandwiches are delicious and I was always wondering what their catering was like. Have you actually tried these?

Haven't done it for a while, but I used to get terrific appetizers/small bites from La Conversation on Doheny. They was a good variety....though were all really good...and the price was really reasonable.

Has anyone tried Bite as a catered option? Their cafe/bakery was great - wished they'd come back...
