There is a terrific little tapas restaurant called Viva Madrid in Claremont, about a 20 minutes drive west on the 10 from Redlands. It has great atmosphere - big wooden bar, candle wall sconces, bull fighting posters, etc. The food is good too. I actually spent my last bday there and had a great time trying out foods I've never even heard of before (black pudding anyone?). The garlic shrimp was especially good from what I remember - fresh, plump and with just the right amount of garlic and spices on it that I was using the bread to soak up the sauce even after I had finished the shrimp.

The address of the restaurant is:
225 Yale Avenue. It's tucked away in a little minimall.

Thanks Macy. Do you know anything about Prague in Riverside?

No, sorry, I have not heard of Prague.

          Macy,

Thanks for the recommendation. Dinner was wonderful, and the the atmosphere a pleasant surprise. We had the garlic shrimp and the cold tapas sampler, which included black pudding (a first for me), chorizo, serrano ham, olives, wedges of potato pie, anchovies, asparagus, and cheese. We finished off the meal with flan for dessert. We'll both return.
