Best late-night diner/breakfast food?

Looking for some great, late-night dining spots - think 24-hr diners, breakfast food or greasy goodness. Open-faced turkey sandwiches. Pancakes. Chicken-fried steak. All of the above.

prefer midtown or downtown. I love veselka, but too classy for what we're looking for. never been to 7A, but the menu looks good!

MIdtown or downtown is still an awfully big area. And 7A is at least as classy as Veselka, so that might not work for you. Any possibility you could find yourself a time machine and go to Kiev? It would be perfect, if it were still open. Maybe Coppelia?

It would help if you specified a neighborhood, since there are a good number of all-night diners. If I were in the EV, I'd go to 7A or Veselka. If I were in Chelsea, I'd go to Chelsea Square.
