Food and hotel in San Diego/Laguna Beach?

Hi all,

I'll be flying into San Diego for the weekend and driving up to Laguna Beach. Any recommendations for food or hotel accommodations in that area?

    On the high end in Laguna is the Surf & Sand, right on the beach. Its restaurant, Splashes, is very good & the view is terrific. Also, try the restaurant, Five Feet in Laguna.
