We are going indoor mini golfing in Norwood. Looking for a place to have drinks and dinner in or near Norwood.

Skye on Rt 1 was always decent, and its near the golfing place - Monster Golf?. Bon Caldo is also good, but is Italian focused. Skye is more contemporary. Depending on which direction you are coming from, Patriots Place has a lot of options (as does Legacy Place right at the Rt 1 exit from 128).

lewis'. you haven't lived til you've had a lewis burger and their orange vodka collins -- made with fresh-squeezed oj.

a true cultural experience this place.

More color is needed for a true picture of Lewis' "culture." I believe it was cleaned up a bit a few years back, but it was once described to me as "where the Norwood Police would look first for fugatives." The aforementioned Lewis burger consists of a thin patty, cheese, ham, egg salad, and LTO. All that said, Lewis' (and especially the burger) is an experience not to be missed.

                Let me just add...

paintings of nekkid wimmin at the bar...

and they keep a lottery guy in a box.

Just go, and ask for an OVC.

no obvious fugitives when i've been there. then again whitey hid in plain sight for decades, lol.

definitely a blue collar kinda bar and all those dubious haters whom i've brought were blown away by the burger and the ovc's.

it's just one nekkid woman, in all the paintings. including draped over a martini glass. c'mon! that's classic!

Mmmm.... Lewis Burger (and their steak tips are tasty as well). Its also a dive bar (even after remodeling) - don't go in there and expect some craft cocktail menu and contemporary American cuisine. But its not like its unsafe - its just a local's bar with an iconic burger. And I think they have PBR.

Sky is slow to bus tables, their food is ok but over priced. They make too many mistakes on their bar tabs.
Olivadi's is near the post office and pretty good. The chateau isn't bad and cheap and on a golf course with a separate bar

Olivadi's and Bon Caldo are both Italian restaurants and both worth a visit, in the order listed.

We went to Sky last night as we had an appointment in the area. Even though it's only about 15 minutes away we had never been. First impression was "I had no idea this was a function hall", as the main dining room is huge, and there are function areas off of the main hall way. Second impression was "what an interesting dinner menu", and third impression was "wow, this stuff is pretty darn good!" We shared a pizza, a salad (the chopped Greek), and three small plates (lobster sliders, fried pickles, potato skin shooters), and everything was very good and reasonably priced. Service was also outstanding.

                      Color me nicely surprised.

I've been there for their Sunday buffet brunch as well as the Thanksgiving buffet. Both were very good.

I've never had a problem in the bar at sky except their adding other people's items to my tab. Their pizza and side orders were always good.

The Raven's Nest in Walpole is a great pub with really good food. My sweetie and I are regulars there.
