Still smiling about recomendations for Victoria two years ago - perfect!

Staying downtown somewhere (can't decide) without a vehicle. Nothing on this board about CHINATOWN - no good??

Powell's is a must. Something nearby for lunch?

[Dinner in Seattle in 2010 was Serious Pie, breakfast Lola, if that helps with recomendations.]

Seafood always a winner.

Double name breakfast place - Kenny & ?? tops everyone's list. Can you get in without a terrific wait?

Love you Chowhounds!

Chinatown here is nothing special - other than Ping, which is located in Chinatown, but not Chinese (very good spot).

Ping is actually within walking distance of Powells - good lunch choice. But I love Little Big Burger for lunch before or after trolling Powells for a couple of hours. 1 block from Powells.

Kenny and Zuke's is also just a couple of blocks from Powells, so it is a consideration for lunch if you didn't want to wait in line for brunch. Not my cup of tea (not into huge deli sandwiches) but some people swear by it.

Oh, another option for lunch are the food carts along Alder near SW 10th, which is about 3-4 blocks from Powells.
