Miami restaruants for teens

My family of 4 will be in Coral Gables visiting the university over spring break. We will be staying in Coconut Grove because it was reasonable and I think equal distance between Coral Gables and South Beach.
I am looking for a couple of good restaurant suggestions in South Beach that my teen age boys will enjoy without breaking the bank. We have been to Joe's in Chicago so not sure if I want to go in Miami.
What about Versailles, Burger & Beer, STK. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Also if we walk around South Beach where should we start?
Should we eat in Coconut Grove? Green St. sounded interesting.
We will only be in town for 2 nights.

You are going to need to be a bit more specific on what kind of food you want to try.

Coconut grove is right next to Coral Gables and is pretty far from South Beach.

Joe's in miami is not associated at all with Joe's in chicago and my relatives that come down every year from chicago always eat at Joes (they insist) and tell me it is much better than Joes and Shaws in chicago.

Versailles is not in south beach and the food is ok but it is an institution and you get a real feel for miami cuban culture there.

You should go to Burger & Beer on brickell - it is much closer to you than the one in south beach.

STK - have not been and not excited to go + is expensive.

Thanks for answering my post. I have not been to FL in many years so I am not sure which area's to visit.
We want a restaruant that has either good cuban food or a steak house. I am also looking for a fun atmosphere that isn't all about the bar scene since we will be with teenagers.
Acording to Mapquest CG is about 20 minutes from SB. Does it take longer due to traffic?

Yes, traffic can be bad at times.

If I were you, I would do Burger & Beer on Brickell (not south beach) and Graziano's in Coral Gables (argentinian steak house). Versailles might be a good place for you to go for cuban, though there are better choices foodwise (specifically, what, I will leave to others to recommend).

I have never been to Jaguar but have heard good things and it is right in the Grove where you are staying.

Thank you! I have made reservations at Jaguar and Graziano's. Both sound fabulous. Burger & Beer was booked.

Now I would like to spend the afternoon in South Beach. Any good lunch recommendations? We want to be on the beach where we can watch the action, not too heavy of a meal and we won't want to sit for too long.
          Thanks for all your help!

Teenagers love George's in South Miami for some reason.

Just got back from our vacation, we ended up eating at Jaguar which was great and the kids loved it. The ceviche was great and the service was wonderful.
We had lunch at the News room which was ok
The next night we had dinner at Prime 112, good meal but very expensive!! Reminds me of Maestro in Chicago. We wouldn't go back.
