Where to have birthday party for husband in Queens?

Looking for a delicious place easily accessible by subway (avoiding the 7 train since it isn't running from the city this weekend I think, which killed my earlier plans.)

Somewhere within reasonable driving distance from Forest Hills and easy to get to for friends coming from the city.

Has to be a place that's not too expensive (med students), can fit a party of at least 12 people comfortably, and a place that has a happy ambience. Prefer if we can all share food together family style. Was originally hoping for Hahm Ji Bach in flushing, but I think it's hard to get to for this weekend for my friends.

Any suggestions? :)

What kind of food are you looking for? Off hand, I think Woodhaven House would fit your needs. Its a fun place to eat, affordable, and could handle your party. Its on Woodhaven Blvd and 64th, right on the border of Rego Park and Middle Village....about a 10 minute walk from the 63rd Dr station.

I wont recommend a restaurant, but just want to mention that just because the 7 doesn't run from Queensboro Plaza to Times Square shouldn't derail (sorry) your plans to go to Flushing. Take the E, F, or R train to Jackson Heights and switch to the 7 there.
