BAM - quick food needed on Valentine's Day

I am going to be bringing my kids (ages 10, 12, 14 and 16) in to see La Traviata at BAM tomorrow night and because it's Valentine's Day I am worried about getting them some food beforehand. Is there anyplace at all we might be able to just walk in to and get a quick bite, that won't be too crowded given the holiday? Many, many thanks.

Thanks, I did, and I thought of Junior's, but I imagine that could be packed tomorrow too.

I'm coming in by car and hopefully parking right nearby. They like all kinds of food, especially new things, and I am really hoping I am not forced to just pick up McDonald's on my way down. Thanks!

Not sure how you feel about BBQ, but I have a hard time picturing Smoke Joint being seen as a romantic destination for valentine's day.

Probably too late but an option if they want burgers is 67Burger, certainly no one would be going there for Valentines' Day. And the burgers are quite good.

Hi all, 67 Burger was perfect - quick though crowded, great fast burgers, friendly good service. My kids loved the burgers and I had a very fresh salad. Just a few blocks from BAM. Thanks a lot!

glad you enjoyed it. We will probably go there as well before our Richard III performance next week. I never think its worth going to a fancier dinner before the theater because you are always watching the clock. And I fear if I drink good wine before Richard III I'll fall asleep!

Judging from the reviews it would be hard to fall asleep during Richard III! Have a great time.

You might fall asleep anyway. Oh wait, no the drums will prevent that. May also prevent you from hearing some of the dialogue if you are seated stage right. And too the 1970 era old and uncomfortable seats - gets very old after 3.5 hours. Spacey was not ethereal and and at times his acting borders on sitcom style. Better have that good wine come to think of it.
