ISO Great brunch/lunch spot between Penn Station and Minskoff on 45th
We'll be arriving by bus on Sunday around 11 am. Meandering towards the Minskoff Theatre for a 1 pm show. Hoping to find a quick, really delicious, inexpensive place to stop for brunch/lunch. Easy like sandwiches or salad, a good bagel and/or eggs. Any good delis in the area? Thoughts on Ben's Kosher Deli on 38th? We wouldn't mind going off our path by a few blocks but really won't have a lot of time to spare.
I've done a number of searches on this board but I'm not really finding much...
Very grateful for all suggestions!

I would try either Salumeria Biellese or City Sandwich.

re: kathryn
I'm pretty sure Biellese is closed on Sunday. I worked across from Ben's for quite some time and was there quite a few times and never really was impressed. There was a very good dairy store on the same block as Ben's closer to 8th ave that had good bagels and eggs, but I can't vouch that they are even there anymore let alone open on Sunday. Go Go Curry is probably my favorite quick cheap lunch in the area. Sandwich Planet on 9th would be my pick for a sandwich. There is a shake shack in the vicinity now as well.

City Sandwich and Sandwich Planet look great. Thanks!
Anybody care to comment on Times Square Hot Bagels? Most of the posts on Chowhound seem to be favorable but nothing recent. The location is ideal for us but if it's not so good anymore, then we'll pass. Thanks!
