      Would have been nice if it had happened prior to the leban article. It will be interesting to see if the Keller alums can make it a destination restaurant again. But the whole issue of maintaining a professional waitstaff in this economy is not exactly easy to fix.

            He can try any stunt he wants but I, for one, will never set foot in that restaurant again, even if someone else offered to pay. I didn't feel our first visit there was worth it, and I felt duped after his decision to remain open.

              In defense of Georges, he never actually said TKRG was taking over the place. He said Nic Fanucci was taking over. And that doesn't appear to be untrue. He also said a "chef" from Per Se was coming down, but he hasn't named any names, so we'll have to see about that one.

          It's a french expression that loosely translates to "the fine palate". The literal translation is "the fine beak".
