Has anyone tried the new kosher deli, Kosh in Stamford?

The Jewish Fedora hats worn by the waitstaff and the stylish decor are about the only things to praise here. Godawful, overpriced food. Gimmicks only get you so far.

I haven't been there but a friend of mine was there on Sunday and said they had a great time and loved the food.... That said, he did mention the fun BEFORE he mentioned the food!

I did not care for it. I don't want a sports bar when I want a deli. I thought their dinner items were pretentious and missed the mark, Many portions were small and overpriced.
Service was uneven, but I was there soon after they opened.

I would not make a special trip to return, but might give them a second chance for lkunch if I was in the area.

Thanks for your feedback. Sounds like dinner is not such a great idea. Looking forward to seeing how people weigh in on the deli sandwiches. Maybe a better idea for lunch.
