From the Boot - Blue Bell Location!

According to their website, the new location is now open! It is in the Whitpain shopping center, on 202, across from Whitpain tavern. It didn't look open this week, but that could just be because they don't have a permanent sign up yet.
The menu for Blue Bell is not posted on their website.

Thanks! I'll investigate on friday. Dolce Luna was pretty decent so they have some expectations to fulfill from the locals.

IMO, The quality of the food declined at the original location after the Ambler location opened, we recently dined at the Original location and my chicken parm was poor: sauce was barely warm and chicken STILL FROZEN in the middle. I was surprised that it was not made fresh- especially on a friday night. Will not return or try the new location/

I bet that Lafayette Hill does not survive and that Blue Bell replaces it. I would try out the new location, because I would bet that it will get all the attention to detail, unlike the old place.

I'm going because I'll be at the next strip mall over on friday nite. Nothing like convenience.

Sent my friend John over for a menu on friday night. Then we called and ordered a white pizza. It was beautiful and tasty and ready for pick up promptly. John said there were people there but no one was eating. Guess it is a very soft opening.
This friday I'll try to walk over myself but it means walking past Capt. Chucky's. Pudge's and Formosa. John usually can't get past China Star because he is addicted to General Tsao's . Pudge's is the big magnet for me but if I wait til about eight thirty they should be closed. If Thai Orchid was a little closer I wouldn't be able to go anywhere else. Went there tonight and got their mon.-thurs dinner special. Yum.
