Sydney with Kids
Hi! We are a family of 5 (kids ages 5-10) and we're going to Sydney next week. We are very excited about our first trip to Sydney! We would love some recommendations for fun spots to enjoy with kids. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

If you have a car and it's a nice day you could grab some fish and chips in Kirribilli and head to Bl;ues Point. Great view of bridge, city and opera house, nice lawned areas for a picnic, on the water and a fenced playground that is popular for the young ones. There are also toilets

These photos are outdated. It's much much nicer than shown here. When I have visitors with kids this is a popular outing and we end up going more than once.

There's a pretty decent detailed guide to this subject I found useful at http://www.experienceoz.com.au/c/cont... that has info about kid's attractions, family-friendly beaches, suggested accommodation and where to stay, etc etc. Migh twant to check it out. Cheers.

Don't have kids but we've seen kids in Lord Nelson's Brewery in the Rocks with good pub food and beer...one of the oldest places in Sydney.

Gosh, it's not that small...we were a party of 5 like the OP and it was lovely.
Haven't lived in Rose Bay or Toorak for many years but we found the pub to have great beer and food and with the place being one of the oldest in Sydney and for a kid or adult, it was a great place to be..
