seek real malted in East Bay

Is there in the East Bay -- preferably Oakland or Beerkeley -- anyplace where one can get a real malted, as distingished from a milkshake?

    Is a malted anything other than a malted milkshake? What makes for a real "malted", by your definition?

      Fenton's creamery makes Malteds
      Ben and Jerry's makes shakes, you could call and ask if they have malt powder as well.
      Actually most Ice Cream shops that make shakes can make malteds since all you need is malt powder.
