Himalya; vegetarian Indian food in Hamilton

Located on or near Centennial Parkway (I wasn't the one driving) in a strip mall. Very small, mostly takeout with several tables. I am not a vegetarian nor do I know much about Indian food but I enjoyed what I ordered, chick pea flour and yogurt sauce, mildly spiced by request. The rice pulau was light and flavourful, The naan was alright, very generous in size, I preferred the deep fried paratha. They also offer a selection of sweets.

My favourite East Indian restaurant in Hamilton, vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Just a few tables, lots of take out. Wonderful sweets boxed in exquisite containers - great hostess/host gift if Indian sweets are a favourite. Himalya is like my favourite Indian 'diner'.
