Bakery in Forest Hills Vicinity?

janie Feb 11, 2012 10:45 AM

What's good these days? I do not like Martha's, Bonnelle is hit or miss and pricey, Boulangerie doesn't really have cakes, Dolce on Metropoli doesn't really thrill me, Andre's is good for rugelach and strudel, but expensive and not what I need right now, recently had some tasty things from Russo's at someone's party in Glendale or Maspeth not sure which location is came from, but I think it's all baked at Maspeth--, Fa Da is not my cup of tea,

---------what do I like? Cannelle, which I can't get to today, and Artopolis in Astoria, and Wall's Jewish Bakery out in LI...................................

Is there anything great in Bayside bakery wise? I remember hearing about new place but can't find the name anywhere....need something for tonight........

Thanks!!!

If you are already expanding your area to Maspeth, why don't you go across the bridge to green point. I love the polish bakeries there such as Northern bakery.
