Chung Ki Wa Korean & Sushi - Sterling Hts (DTW)

Apparently the former Seoul Garden on Dequindre & 15 Mile is now Chung Ki Wa, and owned by the same fellow who owns Mene Sushi in West Bloomfield? Anyone tried it yet?

    Been twice. Ive enjoyed the chadol baki, samgyeopsal and marinated galbi. Definately the best korean bbq i've had since moving out here. Though keep in mind i've only been to a few places so far.

      i went back tonight and ordered fairly similar items to my previous visits only this time the place was packed and the quality of the kalbi was not as good. definitely tougher. the japchae was good. i'd still go back again.

      We've been a few times - the dol sot bi bim bap was hotter and fresher than it had been recently at Shilla. Mostly Korean crowd, good food the 3-4 times I've been. Haven't tried much on the menu beyond my favorite hot stone pot dish.

      There is a review up on a Seoul Garden or "Old" Seoul Garden thread too - also positive.
