Gastropubs/bars for foodies on the North Shore?

Looking for casual places with great food/beer/drinks for our regular girls' night out. Preferably Beverly, Danvers, Peabody area. Thanks!

I've heard great things about 9 Elm in Danvers. Never eaten there though.

I go to 9 Elm often and have never been disappointed; a standout for me recently was halibut over sweet corn puree, mmmmm. I will definitely check out the other recs --thanks!!!

Gulu Gulu is a cafe with beer and wine only. Greenland in Salem has a very well curated bar program and although the food has been dumbed down since opening it's still pretty good. Alchemy Bistro in Gloucester is the best place on the North Shore for what you're looking for. Great bar program, intimate gastropub atmosphere and a kitchen that will wow you.

RIverway pizza is what you're looking for. Ipswich. Be forewarned, no, as in no, atmosphere. But awesome pizza - try the meatball pizza if you like meatballs.

Gulu-Gulu Café in Salem. Less of a gastropub and more of an artsy café with good food and beer, and decent drinks (can't vouch for the drinks personally).

I wish there were better 'gastropub' options up our way but in a pinch you could try Cala's in Manchester - they've been consistently above average lately and offer good drafts, bottled beers and nice cocktail with some interesting apps and entrees. Others like the Wild Horse in Beverly but I haven't had a great experience food-wise there but it has a well-earned rep as a cougar bar, apparently. I will watch this thread for sure.
