The Villens

Finally made it to Brunello Bistro in Somerville, Broadway @ Winter Hill. (Had a hard time getting past the Bickeford's history.) All home made pasta: gnocchi appetizer with a lighter gorgonzola sauce was great. Followed with duck breast over wild mushroom risotto. Cooked perfectly! Hubby had the fruiti de mare, and raved -- huge scallops!
They claim that all the fish is super fresh, and it seems to be true. Worth going just for the pesto cream dipping sauce that came with the bread. Wine list a little pricey for the neighborhood.

Imagine a Somerville restaurant with lots of parking!!

  1. Sounds hopeful. I found it underseasoned across the board, but I might return if I could get salt, pepper and half a lemon with my entrée.
