Whats a good place for lunch? South of Market area?

I'll be doing a workshop near 7th St @ Folsom St, in the South of Market area.

Are there some great spots for lunch within walking distance?

It could be a food cart, could be some hole in the wall, could be some stuffy place where businessmen eat. I don't care, as long as it's got great food!

Here's a map

  1. Mochica (Peruvian) 937 Harrison.

    1. Radius Cafe is right there. Had a great fried chicken salad. Good cookies too.

      1. Custom Burger, Citizens Band, salad bar at Harvest Urban market

        1. I've enjoyed lunch at Basil Thai on Folsom.

          1. +1 on Radius and Citizen's Band for a sit down meal. And get dessert at Pinkie's Bakery, next door.
The overstuffed sandos at Deli Board (1058 Folsom) are great. Look for the specials posted on the wall. Also like the hot subs at A K Subs (397 8th street). Any of the signature subs is good, but I specially like the pastrami.
And in case anyone in your workshop asks for a cheap lunch, there's Extreme Pizza (1062 Folsom). That one is just average pizzas and salads, but it's cheap.
