Best affordable lobster in Dallas/Plano/Frisco?

I don't need a ton of ambience, since this is lobster with a business colleague. But they really love lobster, so that needs to be really tasty.

Appreciate your ideas!

Lobster and, affordable? An oxymoron if I ever heard one. Especially in Dallas.
However, I'd try Pappadeaux Seafood on Oak Lawn or,
S & D Oyster Company on Mckinney Avenue.

And don't let anyone talk you in to "Daddy Jacks". Their one claw special is a tiny 1-1/4lb. lobster that although tasty is not really a very good value after all. The place is tiny and cramped with neighborhood regulars. Definitely not conducive for a business dinner. Your business partner will probably think you're a real cheapskate if you take him or her there.
    -Just my opinion.

Yeah, I know - which of these is not like the other: "lobster" and "affordable." Seriously, though, I don't mind paying for great lobster, just don't want to pay for froufrou, KWIM?

      Any thoughts on Lefty's?

And I hear you on Daddy Jacks.

      Great suggestions, thank you.

Lefty's is always dependable for good lobster. I would definitely consider them.

The only issue I have on Lefty's is the fact that they are a smoking restaurant. I have been in there were the smoke was close to unbearable. Other days it's fine with only a handful of smokers.

The other choice is to hit Rex's for their Lobster roll on Friday. $28 gets you nearly a pound of lobster. It's a great value and great roll.

Smoking's a no-no, so appreciate that heads-up. I hate places that can't keep the smoke out of non-smoking.

Yep same here generally. It's why I generally stay away from Addison.

You might also check to see if Steve Fields still has their Sunday night Lobster special.

        S & D Oyster doesn't serve lobster.
