Monte Alban 100 Percent Agave Silver Tequila
Prior to seeing this, I had only seen Monte Alban Mezcal. The Silver Tequila is a new edition to my local purveyor of alcohol in the sub-$20 category. I bought it and a fifth of Camarena Repo for my Super Bowl Party last Sunday. The Camarena was blandish for lack of a better word, but was not otherwise inoffensive in my margaritas. I got more positive input from using the Monte Alban. Although much hotter, it also had a flavor/olfactory sensation of ripe bananas. With that being said, has anyone else tried it and what do think?
