Does anyone know where I can buy Berbere, an Ethiopian spice blend, in Toronto? I have a chicken stew recipe that calls for it...want to avoid having to make it myself, there are just too many ingredients.

You can try House of Spice in Kensington Market. That's where I got mine last summer.

i buy it on Queen near Parliament. On the north side of the street, I believe, just west of Parliament, there's a corner store that has "Ethiopian Spice" in its name. its very non-descript.
they sell injera, ethiopian curries and berbere.

i buy my stuff from them. supernice people.

There are stores in the Bloor and Ossington area, that sell injera which is an Ethipian bread. Perhaps you could find Berbere in the same area.
