ISO good food and cooking podcasts

Up to date on Splendid Table, Leite's Culinaria, Good Food, Remarkable Palate, NPR. Must be iTunes downloadable. What else is very good?

  1. Those are the ones I listen to, too. I'd be interested in others....

    1. I enjoy the BBC Food Programme podcast.

The BBC podcast looks awesome. Can't download on iTunes. Says invalid address. Know any tricks?

I found the podcast through Itunes and subscribed. This was about a year ago.

I just checked in iTunes at the address is still valid for me. BBC4 Food Programme.

            Maybe a computer reboot.

i absolutely second this. especially the lectures by Jose Andres, Wylie Dufrense, and Grant Achatz.

Jose Andres love for food is really just infectious.

oh, and each podcast starts off kinda slow if you arent interested in the mathematics and science so much, but once you get to the actual featured chef its very worth it. can always skip over the part where the professor talks.

Science and Cooking ended in 2012 but I've been making my way through the archives of the podcast.

Three years later, the podcast genre is gigantic and a great deal of fun.

Right now, I listen to a variety of podcasts while I work. Food categories keep growing:

              Food is the New Rock
Food News by Juliet & Jacoby
              The Menu
              A Taste of the Past
              Fox & Food
              The Sipping Point
              Cutting the Curd
              The Sporkful
              The Dinner Party Download
and, The Leonard Lopate Show offers food discussion on Fridays
and the Awesome Etiquette podcast is a hoot; a very modern take on the subject

            2. Spilled Milk with Molly Wizenberg aka Orangette and Matthew Amster-Burton is cute

Mike and Tom Eat Snacks, not for everybody, they spin some elaborate tall tales but they take the snack PER (pick a snack, eat a snack and rate a snack) system seriously.

Found ATK radio podcast. Really good and just what I'm looking for.

America's Test Kitchen is actually giving something away? For free?

                    1. re: ferret

Funny, right. I actually find that podcast rather dull. It's not additional material from any of the other ATK outlets just repeated material in podcast form.

I think Sporkful is funnier in a more focused way. Yesterday's podcast was fun and a first hand account on cannabis edibles being tested by pastry chefs, measuring potency and culinary uses being tested.
