Freezer Jam - Help!

I made some mandarin marmalade today, but I got rid of my dented stock pot so I couldn't process them in a water bath. I decided to just freeze the jars, but they seem to have sealed themselves in the freezer. I didn't sterilize the jars as well as I usually do, since they were going in the freezer, so I'm a bit worried. Should I pop the lids off the jars? Please, freezer jam experts, help!

The lids don't need sealing if the jam is frozen. You can have either frozen jam or jam at room temp with sealed lids, don't need both.

Is it okay to have both though? Since they sealed themselves on accident, I'm worried about having an airtight container without a perfectly sterile environment (even though I don't think nasties can grow in the freezer).
