Girls' Weekend/Bachelorette in SAVANNAH - Foodie Recs Needed!

We are taking a trip to Savannah for a girls' bachelorette weekend. We LOVE food. In fact, we are all from either Charleston or Asheville and have worked Food and Bev for years in both. In fact, the Bride to Be is a CHEF and has worked under some of the best chefs in both Asheville and Charleston. Between all of us ladies we have worked (Managers, Chefs, Pastry Chefs, Catering, Serving, Bartending, and so forth...) in many Charleston "favorites" (Rue de Jean, Coast, Pan e Vino, Fat Hen, Wild Olive, Cru, SNOB, High Cotton, McCrady's,...) and have eaten or know the chefs/waitstaff all around. SO, you can see the dilemma. We don't like tourists, but we love good food, good wine, good liquor, and fun atmosphere!

Needless to say, we want to have a great time, without completely bankrupting us. A few things I have been looking at are:

Local 11ten (with the rooftop bar Perch)
Sentient Bean Cafe
Jazz'd tapas

and perhaps:
Cha Bella
Noble Fare

But I am really looking for some recommendations that is going to fit the bill for our weekend. We are most likely going to be there for 2-3 dinners, Sunday Brunch, and of course, bars.

Bars are the other concern I had. Wet Willy's will NOT be on the itinerary. So, any late night spots would be helpful to. Especially wine bars.

  1. Bars, all right by City Market; Lulu's Chocolate Bar, Seed Eco-Lounge, Rogue Water, The Rail, Bacchus Wine Lounge.
Lunch or picnic on Telfair Square, Papillote. You can drink alcoholic beverages anywhere downtown as long as it's out of a plastic cup. Don't like a bar? Get a go-cup.
    Shopping; The Salt Table.
