Looking for a crawfish boil

We will be in Montgomery Alabama in April and are looking for a place to go and eat crawfish. We wouldn't mind driving some to find a good "local" place to have some

We will be driving from Minnesota. If there any places outside of Montgomery, we would consider those also.

The only place I know of FOR SURE. is in Leiper's Fork, Tn. It's a bit outside Nashville and on Thursday's they do boils and have a great open mic night.

I know that's not in or around Montgomery but if you decided a stop for the night in the Nashville area is doable on a Thursday, there you go.

Hope this is of some help to you. I too would be interested to know about boils. More in N. 'Bama though.

There's a crawfish boil festival in Birmingham every spring

Thanks for the info, I went and checked out the link. If I can't make it there, I am hoping my son who's based in Montgomery with Air Force can make it.

If anyone knows any local restaurants/dives that would just have crawfish on the menu, that would be great also

You're in luck--there's a charity "Mudbug Ball" on April 7 at Roux in Cloverdale. See you there.

Roux also has a fried crawfish po boy year-round, and I expect both Roux and Tipping Point will have their own crawfish parties at some point this Spring. May want to check with Capitol Oyster Bar too--they've moved to a new spot overlooking the Alabama River. And you can always buy your own through Destin Connection.
