Business Dinner Rec in Gaithersburg MD

Need a mtg. over dinner. Quite place where we can talk (party of 4) is a must but I also don't want a complete empty restaurant either. Nothing fancy or expensive but it cannot be loud with lots of TVs (ESPN going). I'm thinking two types of restaurants: American or Chinese.

Would appreciate any recs in either category in Gaithersburg, MD

Fu Shing Cafe is now called Yu Zhou Cafe.

Did you mean Bonefish? Good, but kinda loud I think.

Yes I meant bonefish. I stand corrected. Did not no Fu shin changed name. Is it the same?

I think that Bonefish is a pretty loud restaurant and might not be a good place to have a business dinner. There always seems to be a wait and you are given a buzzer thing to wait for a table. I'm old-school, and wouldn't do that buzzer wait for a client.

Kentlands provides a nice upscale neighborhood atmosphere, predictive of success.
I'd recommend O'Donnell's Seafood Restaurant in Kentlands.

I think this a good idea for the OP's request. My parents like it because it is easy to hear conversation, and, while not cutting edge, the food is good for a group of people who might not want adventurous food. I always get the fried shrimp and their tarter sauce is tops.

        Golden Bull or Flaming Pit?

These are good if your executives are over 60.

Yes, I agree, the food is nothing exciting, but they both are pretty quiet dining rooms and have a solid atmosphere for a business dinner.

Golden Bull actually has a pretty good prime rib, too.

Burma Road (Burmese but really good and they do have a Chinese menu)
Growlers (If it's a weeknight, the dining room downstairs is pretty quiet)
Tai Shan (Good Chinese and generally pretty quiet)
