Group Dinner at Great SF Restaurant?

I'm looking for a really good-to-great restaurant in SF that can handle a group of somewhere between 8-12 people. Preferably somewhere with either a private room or an area off to the side. Hoping some of you have experience with the places that do this really well? And if it's a new great spot, even better!

We've done the Slanted Door thing with their room- which is great- but I'm looking for something more upscale.

And it should have a really cozy atmosphere.

Atelier Crenn has a garden room for private parties, and I believe the food would fit what it sounds like you're looking for.
