Greensburg (Just E of PBurgh) need Sunday lunch spot
I'm planning to spend a Sunday in Greensburg to visit the Westmoreland Museum. Looking for restaurants in walking distance of the museum (I'm taking AMTRAK there). I am OK with a range of food from pizza to fine dining, ethnic or diner-style. Just looking for ideas.
I've searched the PA board, but nothing. Thank for any replies!

Christy.. Are you walking to the art mesum from the train station ?
Foodwise you have some nice choices downtown;
The Supper Club: is connected to the train station Higher end farm to table with (2) menues I am not sure if I hate or love the place. Sometime I get a great meal other times , it is just OK.
Rialtos is a Italian place with decent food. I really like thier pizza. Good Prices, typcally red sauce place.
Note* I use high end loosley... none of the places require any dress code (rather than normal hygene) , but are more $$ than the average hoel in wall
One Eleven- is very nice High End place. they shoudl have a brunch on sundays that i hear nice things about
J - Corks .. Mainly Steaks , and my fav in downtown gbg. Always had great service and meal .
BE CAREFUL NOT EVERYTHIGN IS OPEN ON SUNDAYS. If you have any preferences or need anything else let me know.. This is my neck of the woods (even though I spend more time in Pitts, i sleep in GBG)

re: Augie6
I have a similar need, the main difference being that I have a car so I'm not restricted to places walking distance from the train station. I'm willing to drive a town or two over but I don't really want to go all the way into Pittsburgh. I will be staying overnight in Greensburg, then departing (to the south) on a Sunday. I'm looking for a place to have a nice breakfast, brunch, or lunch on Sunday before leaving. According to their websites, the Supper Club, One Eleven, and J. Cork's are all closed on Sundays. Is there anything in the area open Sundays for breakfast/brunch/lunch that's nicer and more interesting than Denny's, IHOP, Eat 'n Park, or Kings?
