ISO a cinnamon cookie recipe I've lost

blue room Feb 6, 2012 12:53 PM

I *think* it was from Gourmet magazine years ago -- but not sure. The cookies were very flat (you could roll them up into "cigarettes" when warm. The recipe called for cinnamon OIL, not extract, not ground cinnamon.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Thanks very much!

    Here's a link:

The recipe doesn't seem to call for cinnamon oil, but I'm pretty sure it must be the one you're looking for since it describes rolling the cookies into "cigarettes."

FYI ,most of the recipes from Gourmet and Bon Appetit going back many years are on file in a searchable database over there at epicurious.com.

Thank you, eclectic, but these contained no chocolate. I'll keep searching!

Hope you read through the recipe and noticed that the chocolate was not part of the cookie dough but instead was for dipping after they were rolled into cigarettes... Good luck in your search!
