Valentine's in NYC
Okay, I'm in need of some opinions. We will be in NYC from TX on Valentine's, I've been doing some research but just can't seem to pick a place for dinner. We are running out of time to make reservations. My boyfriend is extremely picky so I think I'm safe with a Steakhouse or Italian. We thought about doing one of the harbour cruises. How does anyone feel about that?
- Any area is good
- Any price is good

We called and got a good reservation time at the Porterhouse. That had been one of my options and I think when you said the view of Central Park it made my mind up lol. I hope it's good!!

I would suggest looking at Opentable for Italian and Steakhouses and then narrowing your choice to a few names to ask about. When you say any price, that's not helpful. Dinner could be $50 or $500. WIthout knowing more about what you're able/willing to spend, the suggestions may not fit. At the high end, I see Felidia and Wolfgang's that have openings. Both are very good.
I wold avoid the dinner harbour cruise. An old girlfriend took me on one for a b-day many years ago. Its indifferent food in a setting that feels like a wedding hall with a crowd that was at least twice my age back then (closer to the crowd now). So even though I don't know your age or food interests, I would say skip it.
