Six Pence Pie Company

Sign in a store front window in my small (Connecticut) town announcing the imminent arrival of the Six Pence Pie Company. Has anyone ever heard of this establishment in any other location? How is it?Are the pies dessert types or are they English meat pies (ala Cornish pasties)?

Do you think you can let us know where it is located?

HI! We are at 26 North Main Street Southington. We should be opening in the next 10 days! We do British style pies, pot pies, quiches, soups and salads. We also do seven farmer markets in CT. All of our meats are nitrate free, grass fed, and humanely raised. We also use Connecticut dairy and produce. Our new website will be up by the 23rd.

I know them. Their specialty is an American twist to the Cornish pasty. They do soups, salads, sweet pies too. They're in a lot of new England farmers markets, so they focus on local and whole ingredients. Looking forward to the store opening.
