Freezing tips for our Super Bowl Brisket

We braised a 5 lb brisket today and gave plenty left for sandwiches and then some. Any tips on the best way to freeze the leftovers? We have about 3 cups of delicious braising liquid too. Thanks!

  1. I usually freeze it sliced laid out flat with the braising liquid.

    1. I have experienced just as good of results freezing the meat without the cooking juices ....

          does it need to be sliced to freeze, or can I just freeze the hunk of it that is left over?
