Top Chefs and the Superbowl: Antonia, Blais, Tom C and Ritz Crackers!

My oh my. I had no idea what Blais was up to, but Antonia's sounds pretty good. These endless pregame shows really do have to fill the hours don't they?

This was just the beginning; "judging" comes later.

That was a pretty awful segment/promo...

yes it was. It looks like the spent about 2 and a half minutes giving any thought to the whole thing.

Sorry I didn't see this when I asked who won in the 2/1 thread. What did they each make? Who were the sports guys eating it, Chris C. and Bob, or Rodney and the other dudes? Was there a reason Antonia was the Pats person? I don't remember her being from the New England area.

Antonia made some sort of "tuna salad on a ritz" update, with fresh tuna. Richard made something with so many ingredients I couldn't process it but he called it something to do with crab (including mustard seed, or "poor man's" caviar, which I had to look up). I don't even remember who the sports guys were, there were three or four of them, and it was over almost before it began. The "prize" was two superbowl tickets (since they were already in the booth overlooking the field, I have trouble believing they were really going to toss the loser out of the stadium, but who knows).

Agree. Richard didn't look too sad to lose.
