Lamb Barbacoa in Oven, How Long?
I'm looking to do a goat barbacoa recipe with some extra lamb shoulder I got. My recipe calls for 4 hours at 325 for a 6-8lbs shoulder, but I have about 3lbs. I have never cooked lamb like this beforeI have no idea how long I should put it in for. Half weight, half time sounds reasonable but at the same time, my gut tells me it's not that simple.
Could you taste it after 2 hours and see how you like it? Lamb barbacoa sounds really good. Could you share the recipe?

I think the recipe is the same one as the first link provided by scubadoo97, they look identical.
I wanted to prevent opening up the contraption and tasting multiple times as I'd rather have a better starting point than my guess of 2 hours, but it looks like 2 hours is right amount of time. Thanks.
