That location is truly a "no good dining options within walking distance land" as far as I can think of. If you take a short cab ride either north to Westchester or south to El Segundo there are some good options including Houston's, Paul Martin's American Bistro, Ayara Thai and Chalet Edelweiss (among others).

    Ayara Thai Cuisine
    6245 W 87th St, Los Angeles, CA 90045

    Chalet Edelweiss
8740 Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90045

    Houston's Restaurant
1550 Rosecrans Ave Ste A, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

    Paul Martin's American Bistro
2361 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 180, El Segundo, CA 90245

There is a trolly from the airport hotels (http://www.gatewaytola.org/index.cfm/...) or a taxi that will take you to Manhattan Beach 3 miles away. I love Manhattan Beach Post. Great small plates and one of my favorite restaurants in LA. They save 40% of their tables for walk-in's but make a reservation if you can. I also like Darren’s Restaurant for California cuisine and good upscale Greek Food at Petro's both in MB. The Pacific Ocean and the Manhattan Beach Pier is just a block away for all of these.

      Petros Restaurant

      Darren's Restaurant and Bar
1141 Manhattan Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

      Manhattan Beach Post
1142 Manhattan Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

don't believe that the trolly stops anywhere near the embassy suites.
irrc, it's service is focused on the hotels on century blvd.
