Weekend in Baltimore
Girlfriend and I are headed up to Baltimore from DC for the weekend next weekend. Will get in late afternoon/early evening on Friday. Leave mid/late afternoon on Sunday. Only reservation at the moment is a late dinner on Saturday at Cinghiale.
I'd appreciate your thoughts on (1) places for dinner on Friday (2) places for drinks/etc either night (3) lunches on sat and/or sunday (4) and other necessary culinary adventures. I have been to Baltimore several times so have a pretty good knowledge of the city. We are staying in Mount Vernon (so will surely be hitting Brewers Art for the bar!) and will need to rely on public transit to get around. Price point should be low-ish since will be shelling out a decent amount for Cinghiale.

If you are going to Brewer's Art because you are a beer fan, be sure to hop in a cab and down a few pints at Alewife. It's Baltimore's craft beer mecca and a pretty nice space too. http://alewifebaltimore.com/
Try to get into Peters Inn in Fells Point on Friday. Small bar with an excellent menu that changes daily. Walk down to Fells after and hit up some local watering holes.

I just posted this to a different thread, but Woodberry Kitchen is amazing. I love it for brunch, but have actually pulled the daily double once before.
It is good enough that I drive the hour there and back at least once a month so I can get my fix. If it were in DC, you would never get a table. As is, it is a special find.

I was in Baltimore over Christmas and had the most amazing grilled Mahi sandwhich at City Cafe on Cathedral Street, so in the neighborhood you will be in. Great fries too. The food being brought to the people around me looked good too, especially a Mediteranean salad (I asked the waitress what is was!). Highly recommend.

go to the Owl Bar in The Belvedere a prohibition era bar with beautiful high ceilings and moldings and have a drink. The wood burning stove pizza is good as are some of the sandwiches.
Tio Pepes has great classic Spanish cooking but is not cheap.
The Helmond is a great and nice Afghan restaurant on Charles St and has great food but again I wouldnt call it cheap
