sushi making at home

Some girlfriends and I are going to try to make sushi at home. Does anyone have advice regarding the best place to buy fish and related sushi ingredients? Or any tips? We live in central Dallas but are willing to drive some for good quality.

I've had very good luck at the new 99 Ranch in Plano. I think the selection & price are worth my 60 mile drive each way!
