Mom/ Daughter Birthday Day out?

My daughter and I are spending the day in the city for her 16th birthday- starting the day at Dialog in the Dark at the Seaport and we are doing the Avenue Q matinee...looking for some thoughts on a great lunch/brunch suggestion between those areas...was thinking about Otto, but would love some other thoughts? Thanks!

I would suggest Union Square Cafe, La Promenade des Anglais, or Maialino.
