Wine to go with Rapini (Broccoli Rabe) ?

Wine to go with Rapini (Broccoli Rabe) ? It Will be simply prepared, sauteed with Chorizo and garlic.

I'm open to all style, color and country of origin;

You can be generic, from there, I will look at what is available at our local wine monopoly (SAQ).

Thanks.

Max.

    Gruner Veltliner is one of the best wines I've found for green veggies like rabe, artichokes, and the like. Some Sauvignon blancs work, but definitely NOT all of them, so it's hard to recommend them in general. GV or Riesling are your best bets.

      I will second the GV's, as they seem to counter many of the acids, found in green veggies. An amazing little wine.

      Italian dry red. If I were more knowledgeable, I'd offer a region...

      I make broccoli rabe in pasta frequently. Remember, there's a bitterness about this vegetable that may be good to keep in mind when choosing wine... I'm sure others here have some good ideas.
