Good Sushi Bar with 4 people

villainx Feb 1, 2012 06:25 PM

Just wondering which one of the higher end sushi place would be ideal for 4 people. Ideally some place with an elbow or right angle at the bar.

I usually hit the sushi joints as party of 2 or 3 at most. Otherwise the conversation flow gets a little awkward or the sushi chef is kinda hurried. But I guess I want to go with some relatives, and there's no way to go unless it's a party of 4.

Ushiwakamaru has an elbow at the bar so that might work, and other suggestions?

      15 East also works.

15 East, that spot is reserved first ,, it is the best location to watch the chef at work.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I'd probably want to save 15 East or Yasuda for a real special occasion.

I'm thinking of either a bit more second tier (good, not necessarily excellent) sushi. Erm, I'm likely paying, which is part of the reason. But it's also equally about enjoying the sushi and enjoying family-ness.
