Does anyone know of any store that sells applewood smoked bacon?

Please no center city, South Philly or NE Philly locations. I am mainly interested in Bala Cynwyd, main line area, Manayunk, Roxborough, East Falls, Chestnut Hill, Plymouth Meeting, Conshohocken, Lafayette Hill, Blue Bell, King of Prussia areas.

I know there are placed on the internet that you can mail order it, but I am looking for a place to buy it in my area.

THANKS!!

Try Illg's in Chalfont. Their bacon is beautifully made. You can select the slab and they will slice it to order. They have double smoked and uncured bacon and I do believe that they have applewood smoked but if that is an absolutely requirement, call them first!

I think you can get applewood smoked bacon from Main Street Market in Manayunk (it might even be double smoked). You can get it pre-sliced, or can get a chunk of it to chop up yourself. If it's not exactly smoked with applewood, whatever it is - it's really good and worth getting.

I've seen it recently at the Whole Foods in North Wales.

We use to get it at Trader Joe's. Also available at Wegman's

I've gotten it at Trader Joe's, but haven't in a while. Don't get there as often as I'ld like

I saw uncured Apple smoked bacon there the other day. Why they didn't say applewood, I dont know.

Niman Ranch bacon is applewood smoked, you can get it at any Whole Foods I've ever been to, including the Plymouth Meeting store. I think they may actually have more than one brand that's applewood smoked there.
