Does anyone do good Chicken and Waffles DTW

Have heard about them, have seen it featured numerous times on the Food Channel. Appears to be a Southern possibly Soul Food item. Has anyone had them and can they be had locally if so who does them right?

Southern Fires in Detroit City does them but I wouldn't put the whole experience in the top 10. If you do go use the mandatory valet and go in the daylight.
