Bowery - resturant recommendations

Well, I've gone and posted the below post on the wrong board, hoping this will get some responses..

Spending this upcoming weekend in the Bowery, made a reservation at Gemma and Balthazar for dinner on Fri and Sat nights - how are those places?

I'm hoping to have a great Chinese dim sum meal - can anyone make a recommendations?

I'm not sure if you need Bowery restaurants, but Hop Shing is on the Bowery by Confuscious Sq for Dim Sum. Golden Unicorn across the street on E. Bway, or go to Red Egg a few blocks over from Bowery.
